Welcome To Franipedia, Home of Francis
Started in 2008 and ending in 2009, the Second Papal-Bosnian War was a bloody fight between the Papal States and Bosnia.
The first war, better known as the Bosnian Crusade of 1235-1241, was a failure, and the mainly Hungarian forces were unable to defeat the Bosnian and Mongol forces.
In 2006, Denis Bećirović gathered thousands of Bosnian rebels and called for independence from the Kingdom of Hungary. The Hungarians, of course, fought back and launched a military campaign into Bosnia, but met harsh and unbreakable resistance. With the minimal advancements made after two years of fighting, the Papal States, with Schlenton Brigades from the Holy Roman Empire, joined the war in 2008.
With Pope Francis himself leading the charge, around 250,000 Schlentons were deployed into Bosnia, stumbling and farting their way into enemy positions with great valor. Unfortunately for the Papal States, every attack was easily repelled, and most Schlentons were shot into bits. Poopula C. Schlenton was a veteran of this war, and according to the Pope, suffered "intense PTSD" and lost a testicle. When we informed the Pope that Poopula is not sentient and cannot get PTSD, and doesn't have testicles, Francis replied "Yes he does. Poopula saw things no man should see and paid the price for it. Be quiet around him about it, he might snap". Francis might truly be schizophrenic, or the Seven Woahs of Hell really did mess with his mind.
The war ended in 2009 after the Papal States retreated after 95% of the 250,000 Schlentons were killed in the war. The Pope called it a "crushing defeat but nessecary for the Schlentons". A few years later Croatia under John Paul Della Tiny, was able to quickly defeat the Bosnians and annex the country.
