Kingdom of Sicily (Il Poo)

Il Poo's Kingdom of Sicily is an evil state led by Il Poo. It was wrongfully stolen from the Kingdom of Sicily by German and Swiss protestant princes who had aided Il Poo. It managed to win against Jacob's civil war for independence, and remains a very split and hostile country, as many independentists remain and fight for the restoration of prime Sicily, however under Il Poo, this had been very unlikely until recently. Pope Francis has distanced himself from this nation to extreme limits, sanctioning it and declaring an interdict on all those in the country's government.

Currently, its capital in Messina issued a proclamation that all men aged 18-35 must enlist in the army to defend the island from "Papist ultramontanes like Francis".

Recently the Pope declared he is absolutely fed up with Il Poos constitutional monarchy and is willing to help Sicily fight back for its independence, granted that they will accept Catholicism, the Papacy, and pay a small tribute to the Pope yearly. The Pope, also adhering to salic law has said that Il Poo is not a true monarch and has no right to rule Sicily. Currently, Portugal under Salazar, Ireland under Docta Mista Hou, and local Sicilian nationalists and Catholics are agreeing to help on the side of Pope Francis, whereas the English Commonwealth, Israeli Rebels, the Ottoman Empire under AC and Kosh agree to help Il Poos regime. Most of her funding has recently come from Calabrian land owner, Il Nig, who is also married to Pastor John just like her.

Il Poo also converted to Weisenburger and is vowing to establish Edward Weisenburger as the religious leader and "Pope" of Sicily, resulting in a mass purge of traditional catholics and clergy. She is also opening the country up to Muslims after she married Pastor John.

However, Joseph Goebbels will claim the throne righteously and take over Sicily. His reign will see an Anschluss with Libya, an invasion of Greece, and a war with France to reclaim Algeria. The Constitutionalist Government was destroyed after the Second Sicilian Civil War due to the works of the Sicilian Fascist Movement, Freeciania, and the HRE. We also saw the death of Il Poo, the banning of Weisenburger, and the Kingdom of Sicily reinstated by Joseph Goebbels.
