In 1943 following the loss in Africa, the NSDAP had reinforced their lands in the Netherlands and began planning for a counterattack into Germany to divert the main Italian, Spanish, and HRE armies from Austria and to create a two front offensive. However, as the war dragged on and France seemed to be growing more interested in joining the war, Jimmy Martin had decided to send 35% of his army from Austria to reinforce the Netherlands in case of a French attack, later on many reserve commanders not needed in the front lines of Austria were sent to help in France and command from the back, including Giacomo Lecaro and Hendrik Feldmeijer who'd later be known as Robert DeHondt.
During this time, several plans to attack and capture Paris in a short manner were made, and nearly executed had the Austrian offensive not been proven a disaster for the NSDAP.
Eventually, a Hungarian army had tried to push in and retake Cologne after using France as a way to flank the NSDAP, but this move was expected, and the Hungarian army was quickly defeated by the NSDAP. During this counteroffensive, Joachim Peiper a Novus Ordo SS officer had defected and killed 84 NSDAP prisoners in Malmedy before officially joining the Imperial Army.
After this victory, the NSDAP was nearly ready to launch a massive counterattack and hit the Imperial army from behind, but the war was declared over. Even after the war was over, the Netherlands remained a fiercely NSDAP area, and they had put up a strong resistance movement which lasted until 1948 when the Imperial army led by Kaiser Francis decisively defeated them.
