Spanish Habsburg Line

The Spanish Habsburg Line is the line of Habsburgs that currently rules most of Spain, although the Austrian line which is the main house of Spain, is run by Francis.

The Spanish line was formed in Castile in the Sicilian colony set up there, by Phillip I, a Sicilian nobleman seeking great wealth and fortune. Upon marrying fellow Sicilian Joanna de Mussomelli, a half descendant of the Austrian Habsburg line, they gained power and influence in the Spanish monarchy, eventually becoming the dominant family, only marrying with Sicilians. 

In short, all Spanish line Habsburgs are near perfect ethnic Sicilians that can trace their roots back to Palermo or Mussomelli. The Kingdom of Sicily because of this, was a massive superpower and had a massive amount of influence in Spain, with many famous Spanish kings like Charles V or Phillip II being ethnic Sicilians while. Il Poo is one of the few last members of the Spanish Habsburg line, and through marrying Pope Francis, is had united the Spanish and Austrian line families until Pope Francis had taken his son Fril Froo to live in the Vatican, declaring the marriage null and void. The Pope has agreed to clerical celibacy, although we are unsure if he will commit to this in his personal life.
