Welcome To Franipedia, Home of Francis
The PNF aka as the Partito Nazionale Fascista or National Fascist Party, was a fascist political party founded by Benito Mussolini and Italo Balbo in 1921. It was made to enforce the changes and reforms during the Italian Unification and to show Mussolini's political legitimacy in taking the Kingdom of Naples over and uniting Italy under one ruler.
During its existence, it influenced many other movements like the Spanish Falange, Dollfuss' fascist movement, and even elements of the NSDAP.
In 1959, following Pope Francis' election to the pontificate, the PNF had lost many of its members in favor of the growing Pope Party, which had sought to give Pope Francis rule of Italy instead. In 1961, the PNF had lost its rule, and Mussolini formally handed his power over to Pope Francis.
Today, the PNF exists in very small numbers and has even been publicly condemned by Mussolini, who said that if he had wanted Italy to remain under his control and the PNF, he would not have given his country to Pope Francis.
