Born in 482 BC in Mineo Sicily, was the first ever king of Sicily. Sometime around 456 BC Ducetius would conquer the Sikeloi (sicels) amassing a great army. In 452, Ducetius would fend off a Greek invasion after a decisive battle 20 miles north of Syracuse. Of course at this time the Greeks were still white, so the earliest Sicilians were Greek. (See more on Sicilian racial tests)
In 448, Ducetius would conquer the Sicani, then 2 years later conquer the Elymians, unifying Sicily under one banner. During the mass African invasion of Europe which would later lead to Europe becoming African in genetics, Sicily would be lucky enough to be low on the radar, and thanks to Ducetius amazing commanding skills, he would successfully defend against the invading Africans.
In 442, Ducetius would be assassinated by his son Diodorus, who would later take the throne and reign for 24 years, starting a long continuous line of Sicilian kings in the Siculus dynasty, lasting nearly 250 years.
