Born in 1639 in London, Aaron McLafferty was raised into a protestant family and later served under Oliver Cromwell's revolt. In 1655, he was knighted in the Anglican Church. However, he would flee the country in 1658 following Cromwell's execution where he would go to the French province in Michigan.
As he grew older, he injected sea sponge DNA into him, granting him the ability to live hundreds of years. In TinyTown, he helped the growing Anglican Church in the region with funding and eventually helped the Tinii get into power in 1742. Mr. McLafferty was one of the handful of humans allowed to live in TinyTown, and was only allowed in due to his help reforming the snail population from Anglicanism to Snailism under the Snailish Church however he would be excommunicated by Kidd in 2010 for believing the snailish mothership had green lights, and not blue lights.
Sometime around 2007, he met a lovely young snail, Snailberta Tinii and married her and in 2009, he witnessed the birth of his son Flabe. However, this caused a massive argument in the Tinii family, because their direct descendant and heir to the throne was a Flabahoomutt, which meant half snail half human. Because of this, many of the Tinii left TinyTown or changed their name.
Sometime around 2015, he converted to the Novus Ordo and was ordained a priest in the Novus Ordo in 2016. In 2018, he was consecrated a bishop in the Novus Ordo and helped to establish the Novus Lafferty, which is a typical Novus Ordo mass but plays his favorite song "I Vow To Thee McLafferty" at the end of the mass.
He was sent to St. Peter In The Field in Ohio in 2024, and has since been holding "mass" there. After Edward Weisenburger bought the St. John Neumann parish, Mr. McLafferty is now proudly a member of the Weisenburger church.
