Origins

Nig-Nebraskan tradition teaches that Bugsly emerged during the Great Revival, a miraculous event that occurred in the countryside of Nebraska. There is no precise, universally accepted account of what happened, but all major Nig-Nebraskan sources agree that Bugsly appeared with a divine mandate to restore Catholicism for the African race and relocate the head of the Catholic Church to Nebraska. This occurred after Bugsly abandoned his past life with his wife Shaniqua and his son Tyrone. 

It is also widely noted that Bugsly bears an uncanny resemblance to Cardinal Robert Sarah. Although Bugsly denies it, many believe that he is Sarah's evil twin brother.
