After the dynasty established by Ducetius ended, King Vasili I took power and expanded the borders, expanding into Turkey, down the Nile, Morocco, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Gibraltar, Spain and Libya.
King Vasili would go down in history as being a great conqueror and defended Greece and Calabria from Roman invasions, and at one point nearly took Rome but had to pull out due to an uprising in Athens.
In 470 AD, several rebellions broke out in Calabria, Sicily, and Libya, and in 477 Palermo was taken and Vasilis great-great-grandson Vasili IV was publically executed and his 3 sons and 2 daughters were executed. After this, Trapani was chosen to be the new capital, and after a short anarchy period, Sicily would be reunited and into its strongest period.
