Welcome To Franipedia, Home of Francis
António de Oliveira Salazar is the current ruler of Portugal and has been reigning since 1932 to today, using sea sponge DNA to stay alive. He is a close ally of the Spanish Empire, Holy Roman Empire, and personal friends with Mussolini and Pope Francis.
He is a very devoted Catholic, and was famous for defending the site of Our Lady of Fatima against Novus Ordo desecrators in 1978 and had nearly imprisoned Grem Grems in 1982, however he just barely managed to escape the country before Portuguese troops could arrive.
He is good friends with Deacon Schlicks cousin from Portugal whom he uses as an effective tool of trade and commerce, ensuring the prosperity of the Portuguese economy.
During World War Two he remained neutral officially, but allowed Spanish soldiers to set up military bases in his country, and sent Deacon Schlicks cousin from Portugal to Italy to establish a direct trade route with the cut-off Austrian forces under Emperor Francis.
With tensions growing in Sicily with Il Poo, Pope Francis, and the constitutional monarchy, Salazar agreed to help the invasion and liberation of Sicily if war ever were to break out.
