Emperor Pope Francis, reigning from 1619 to now
Welcome To Franipedia, Home of Francis
The Holy Roman Empire is one of, if not the most powerful Catholic nation in the world. Pope Francis has ruled the Empire since 1619, with some intervals where other emperors had to reign due to the amount of jobs Francis has. The Empire had started shortly after the Carolingian period as a complete mess of princes who enjoyed filthy beer halls and electoral orgies, later consolidating under the house of Habsburg through centuries of incestuous marriages. In the modern era, the Habsburg line culminates in the Emperor Francis Habsburg, the Pope who rules Austria directly as Archduke while serving as elected Holy Roman Emperor and Pope.
The Empire is the oldest state to spend extensive time as a superpower, notably for its countless trade wars, diplomacy, the GDP and is most well known for being ruled by the Pope.
The Holy Roman Empire is the official name of the enduring confederation of German and Austrian states, known to many outside the German nation as "The Poop Reich".
