Wilhelm Von Potsdam

EARLY LIFE

Wilhelm von Potsdam, was born in 1982 in a small Chuckist family in Potsdam. Growing up, he frequently played Empire Earth, where his commanding skills grew exponentially. At 19, he left to go to college to study Chuckism, however he slowly grew more to the military life, and after graduating moved to Michigan to live in the independent German state of Sterling Heights, where he would enlist in the army and quickly be found to have great strategical prowess, earning the Lieutenant rank after 3 years in an officer academy school. His life would be simple for many years, however things would quickly change

STERLING HEIGHTS WAR

In early 2024, TinyTown had begun making ambitious claims to owning Sterling Heights, and the land belonged to the snails. TinyTown had even been initially supported by Pope Francis, and several funds were sent, along with great political support, however Sterling Heights refuted these claims and the army was notified. 

In the early morning, Sterling Heights was awoken by several aerial bombardments from Yellow Smart Cars, and the town was plunged into war. Potsdam was sent to defend Selfridge Air Base, a nearby airbase that they had control over. While war waged in the city, is posed as a mere distraction, as the main TinyTown army moved to capture Selfridge. Unexpecting a fierce battle, they rushed in but were met with fierce resistance. Initially, the Sterling Army on the runway and hangars were beaten, and the hangars were cleared out. TinyTown nearly assumed victory

As TinyTown pushed further into the airbase and into the residential area, the second army was waiting. As soon as they approached, machine guns fired, snipers took out commanders, and waves of small mortars barraged the TinyTown infantry. As more and more TinyTown troops stormed in, most were mowed down before they could even get a shot in. After 2 hours of fierce fighting, Potsdam concluded that he had killed hundreds TinyTown soldiers, and had only lost 2 out of his original 15 of his own. By some lucky odds, Potsdam was able to fend off a massive horde and remain victorious and Selfridge was reconquered

POLITICAL LIFE

After the war was over, Potsdam lived in Sterling for a while longer until he had heard news that TinyTown, after the battle that he won, was going into fracture. Potsdam seized this opportunity and gained entry into TinyTown, where he quickly met and befriended many local Germans who were living in the harsh conditions of the town. After rallying support and advertising, a small band of friends quickly grew to a rising political power, the NSTP or National Socialist TinyTown Party. Quickly, the NSTP was the second most powerful party in TinyTown, and Potsdam was beloved by almost every human living in TinyTown. President Flabe soon announced an election, an election that almost always resulted in him being re-elected. However, as the ballets poured in, he soon realized Potsdam may take power, and the elections were halted and postponed.

Potsdam at this time was in Caseville, near a farmhouse outside the city delivering a speech when this was announced. During his famous and first speech, he announced the corruption of the Town, the moral degeneracy and how he will fix the country and restore its glory. While this was happening Flabe authorized the assassination of Potsdam and ordered General TinyTown Red, Phil McCracken, to send a small team to deal with Potsdam. As Potsdam was finishing his speech, 10 TinyTown Reds poured in and opened fire on the civilians there, killing many. Potsdam managed to take hold of an MG-34 and had begun fending off the Reds, killing 3 and helping many escape before he himself left. This event would later be known as the Massacre of Caseville and served as the final catalyst for the already war hungry NSTP. Later that night, Flabe had announced the NSTP to be a terrorist organization, and that the elections for them would be suspended and banned.

NSTP REVOLT

While we already have described the NSTP Revolt it still remains important to Wilhelm Potsdam. Following the succession of Kosh TinyTowny, Wilhelm gathered a large militia force and launched a night raid on a large Yellow Smart Car factory. Initially, the raid went smoothly and Potsdam had even entered the battle, but TinyTown Red reinforcements swarmed in. The Militia was able to fend them off, and Potsdam became a hero in a night. A day later, another battle went down, as the militia stormed Bad Axe, and took the city with little resistance. Potsdam ordered 3 men to take a sniper position in Caseville to try to assassinate Flabe, however both men were caught and executed by TinyTown Police.

Following this line of quick victories, Potsdam turned his sights towards Marine City, a major city and home of the TinyTown Reds. During the battle, Potsdam noticed he was greatly outnumbered and nearly surrounded. The TinyTown reds were almost able to completely pin and eradicate his army, but by some miracle, Potsdam was able to find a whole in their defenses and escape, marking the first defeat of the war.

The war would go on for a few more weeks, and not much else changed. Finally, Potsdam had beaten the TinyTown army long enough, that they were too exhausted to fight, and eventually pulled out of the Upper Peninsula entirely to defend Caseville. As this was happening, the NSTP had encircled Caseville and initiated a siege. The siege lasted days, but the recent reinforcements from the UP had arrived and managed to break the siege. However, most of the NSTPs army had moved back into a forested area for cover, breaking the siege but the army was still present.

News later arrived to Potsdam that Lapeer was now fully under Kosh, which later prompted him to pull his troops out and march to Lapeer. As the army approached, Potsdam ordered the army to push into the city and kill any communists on sight. In 45 minutes, the city was taken, the communists were dead, and upon storming Kosh's office, it was discovered he had fled during the battle and escaped.

FINAL STAGES

After Lapeer was taken even the NSTP was tired and needed rest. Potsdam allowed rest and prepared a treaty to be sent to Caseville, demanding these things:

-Removal of the Tinii family
-Potsdam be named president
-Snails be removed from power
-NS government implemented

Potsdam continued a march across TinyTown, ambushing and performing hit and runs, and had won a few small battles against the Reds. After victory seemed near, Potsdam began drafting his final peace letter. 

However before the letter was signed, news was sent to Potsdam, informing the slugs have declared war and in just an hour, have pillaged and ravaged most of the south at an alarming rate. Potsdam, prepared his forces for the Royal Slug onslaught, but it was far too late, and the slugs had arrived and likely slaughtered and burnt all of his army. 

Not much is known on what happened, and especially what happened to Potsdam, but the NSTP was never heard from again, and there have been no confirmed witnesses of Potsdam, besides one from an incredibly old snail who claimed to see him at a chuckist church, but this still is highly unlikely and must not be taken as truth unless confirmed otherwise.
