Italian Social Republic

The Italian Social Republic is a recently formed Republican Fascist state led by Achille Starace. It was created after the start of the Italian Civil War and occupies almost all of Northern Italy.

The Italian Social Republic was founded in Venice on October 21, 2026, succeeding the 4 hour long Venetian Fascist Junta in power. 3 hours, Starace ordered his other blackshirt command posts in Bologna and Milan to merge into the Italian Social Republic. When the northern cities were united, the RSI integrated the smaller blackshirt communities in Piedmont, Emilio Romagna, Trentino, etc into being fully controlled by Starace.

The RSI’s command is mostly composed of former PNF leaders who had lived under Benito Mussolini’s Kingdom of Italy (mostly kept alive through sea sponge injections). Starace and other high ranking officials in his government drafted the Manifesto of Verona, which highlighted the new state’s laws, customs, government, and elected Starace as the head of state.
