Weissach is the most famous and currently the last of the Sicilian colonies formed during the Sicilian Colonization of Europe period.
EARLY
Weissach was founded by Hugo de Moncada, a famous Sicilian who formed many settlements. After the fall of Baden-Württemberg, Weissach slowly went from a small village, to a major strategic fort, and would be the last stand for Matteo Palazzi's troops. After the war, Weissach grew and into a well fortified city with a large population of Sicilians. After the Kingdom of Sicily completely withdrew from Europe in 1368, Weissach declared independence and became the Lordship of Weissach under Lord Artale Alagona. Alagona expanded Weissach's borders and land taking the area of Weissach im Tal, expelling the Germans and focusing on Sicilian ethnic purity. For 300 years, Weissach would remain independent
MIDDLE
In the 17th century, the Lordship of Weissach would be taken over by the Spanish Habsburg line, then eventually returned to the Kingdom of Sicily where it would be a hot spot of battles and a Catholic ally during the Thirty Years Francis. Because of this, the Kingdom of Sicily was able to expand and gain great respect amongst Catholic leaders. Weissach would remain under the Kingdom of Sicily until its fall in 1992.
TODAY
During DDs reign of Sicily, several Germans attempted to live in Weissach and repopulate it, however none of the Sicilians mixed with the Germans, and German immigrants were met with extreme hostility. After Weissach was liberated it would side with West Sicilian factions as Yakubs father was a prominent soldier in Weissach. Pope Francis would quickly annex Weissach and would give it to Il Poo after the war as a client state.
